100 Years of the Women’s Vote- Celebrate with us!

The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women’s constitutional right to vote. This historic anniversary is an opportunity to commemorate a step forward for democracy and explore the 19th amendment’s relevance to the issues of equal rights today.

To commemorate and reflect on this milestone, Michigan Women Forward invites you to join us for two celebratory free events:

Woman Suffrage: The West Came First
11 A.M
.- Join us for a panel and conversation with top historians and experts on women’s suffrage. Woman Suffrage: The West Came First will be an educational event that will surprise and inspire you. We’re hosting this event in partnership with National Women’s History Museum
