This workshop has been designed specifically for family business leaders to increase their ability to innovate in both processes and products. During breakfast, participants will learn about the Family Owned Business Institute as well as hear from Joe Schmeider, of the Family Business Consulting Group, who will discuss his new book, Innovation in the Family Business. Breakfast will wrap up with John Berry, a former Vice President at Herman Miller and the Director of the Design Thinking Initiative at GVSU, who will introduce the concepts of Design Thinking.
From 9-12, Seth Starner of New North will lead participants through an interactive workshop where you will learn the ten types of innovation and learn how to increase your business’ core competencies to leverage the types of innovation.
