Beth Gotthelf and Bill Eshelman of Butzel Long will present an overview of the current state U.S. Export Control Regulation now that a substantial number of Munitions List items have been transferred from the responsibility of the State Department to Commerce, pursuant to the current Export Control Reform (ECR) initiative. This presentation is particularly timely as the ECR currently is in its latter stages of implementation, and any previous tensions that may have existed between the licensing regimes of the two Departments is becoming less frequent as a consequence.” Lunch will be served, courtesy of Butzel Long.
