2014 Governor's Economic Summit
Hundreds from around Michigan convened in Grand Rapids March 16th through the 18th for this year's Michigan Governor's Economic Summit. Collaborate, Create, was the focus with discussion and networking in connection with the economic agenda for Michigan going forward.

MSAE Legislative and Public Policy Conference
MSAE, the Michigan Society of Association Executives and others interested in legislative and public policy gathered at the Lansing Center for the annual MSAE Legislative and Public Policy Conference February 26. The Governor’s Luncheon,was followed by Off the Record: On the Road, discussions on ballot proposal reform, the impact of the Affordable Care Act on associations, along with the popular Quadrant Leader panel.

MEDA's Annual Capitol Day Conference
MEDA's (Michigan's Economic Development Association) Capitol Day, their annual legislative conference was a one-day conference including sessions on the latest legislative issues related to economic development as well as State and Federal agency updates on economic development initiatives and laws.

Capital Day also provided a unique opportunity to sit down one on one with local legislator and discuss issues specific to communities and regions across Michigan.

Chrysler Supplier Summit Presented by Pure Michigan Business Connect
Pure Michigan Business Connect hosted a Michigan supplier summit featuring Chrysler Group LLC and ten of its Tier-1 partners in Auburn Hills. Chrysler and its Tier-1 partners have provided over 140 procurement needs and are looking to meet with Michigan suppliers to discuss various opportunities. Tier 1 partners include Autoliv, Bosch, Bridgewater Interiors, Caravan Facilities, Comau, Dakkota Systems, Denso, Faurecia, PPG and Ryan Industries.
